Plum-headed parakeet is native to the vibrant woodlands of the Indian Subcontinent. Adorned with a crown of rich plum purple, they add a touch of enchantment to the landscape. While both males and females sport a green body, their heads are different: males have velvety plum cap, females have blue-gray heads.
