The rose-ringed parakeet also called rose-ringed parrots usually nests in a tree hole about 10-35 feet above the ground. It often makes use of an old hole made by other birds, or it finds a natural crevice of a tree, which the parakeets may first enlarge with its bill. They occupy and clean their nest before every breading season.
