Black headed Ibis is a large bird with white body and bare black head and neck. It is also known as the Oriental white ibis, Indian white ibis, and black-necked ibis, is a species which breeds in the South- and Southeast Asia from India to the west and as far east as Japan.
A well contrasted black and white composition. It digs into wet mud and shallow water with its long, black bill. It is a beauty to watch them at Kaikondrahalli kere, Bangalore.
