The Red-veined Darter or nomad (Sympetrum fonscolombii) is a dragonfly that can reach a body length of 38–40 millimetres. It is red on the body, and the same reddishness continues to the veins of the wings. the female is different in colour. they are more of pale yellow. t breeds in a wide range of habitats including marshes, lakes, ponds, permanent and seasonal rivers.
Red veined darter is widespread and common species in much of the Indian Subcontinent.
